Berlusconi: “If they put me in jail, there will be a revolution”

Thursday, 12 December 2013. Silvio Berlusconi says his arrest would spark a revolution in Italy. In the meanwhile the country is getting ready to it, experiencing protests, roadblocks and rioting by “pitchfork” protesters for the third day.

Berlusconi says that the revolution will save him
Reborn Forza Italia's leader Berlusconi was interviewed by French radio broadcaster Europe 1, when the former prime minister – who was ejected from the Senate of Italy on 28 November, due to a definitive tax fraud convictiongave vent to his grievances.

“They can tap my telephone,” said the billionaire-politician “they have already taken my passport, and they can arrest me when they want. But I'm not afraid, if they do it there will be a revolution in Italy”. The sentence can be interpreted as a foresight or as a manage, you choose.

Berlusconi receives Vladimir Putin in Arcore, where they are caught playing joyfully by a camera (photos)

Wednesday, 5 December 2013. Silvio Berlusconi is caught playing joyfully with his friend Vladimir Putin at Arcore's villa, though there are two versions of the story.

Berlusconi, Putin, a ball, a dog (left): which picture is real and which is fake?

Silvio Berlusconi's good friend Vladimir Putin - whose profession is being the president of Russia –, and in the end of November he was a guest at the Arcore's home of the Italian billionaire, when they were caught playing in one of the corridors of the magnificent villa (in fact one of the most beautiful of the properties owned by the former prime minister of Italy).

Pictures of the event were published by both the authoritative Facebook page Prugna (Prune) and the gossip magazine “Chi” (“Who”) - a publication owned by the Berlusconi family. You won't find this in the news.

Berlusconi splits AC Milan's CEO post to please both his daughter and his friend Galliani

Saturday, 30 November 2013. Nope, Adriano Galliani will not leave AC Milan, and the football club team owned by Silvio Berlusconi will have two General Manager, Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi.

Silvio Berlusconi (left) watching an AC Milan's  football  game with the
one of the club's CEOs' Adriano Galliani (right), and friend Flavio Briatore (centre, of course)

AC Milan's CEO Adriano Galliani was “seriously damaged” by the allegations made by the club's owner's daughterBarbara Berlusconi – about his incapacity of creating a winning team and keep the books in order.

And he was so cross about the situation that he released an interview saying he was about to leave the football club, after more than 27 years. But a Solomonic Silvio Berlusconi decided to try and make peace between the two, invited the friend for dinner in his villa in Arcore, and gave a sop to (apparently) both contender...

Friday 29 November 2013

Berlusconi's friend and AC Milan's CEO is going to leave the club, as he has been turfed out by Barbara Berlusconi

Friday, 29 November 2013. AC Milan's vice president and CEO Adriano Galliani leaves the football team owned by Silvio Berlusconi, due to Barbara Berlusconi harsh criticism.

I suffered a serious damage”, said Adriano Galliani, good old friend and business partner of Silvio Berlusconi, saying that the “generational replacement” within the team AC Milan should be done, but it has been carried out without the “duly elegance”.

Adriano Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi, at a football match

His problem is none the less than Berlusconi daughter, Barbara Berlusconi, even though her name is not on the lips of the visibly cross manager. “I went to Madrid this summer to take Kaka without an appointment” said Galliani in an interview today, “and as I went in August 2010 to take Ibrahimovic Barcelona president Rosell returned from vacation he had planned on purpose, with his whole family.”.

Nobody understands why such an internationally admired manager has been being treated in this way, is the point. Even Chelsea manager (an former Inter Milan's coach) Jose Mourinho said that “Galliani is the most important manager of AC Milan”.

Berlusconi expelled from Italy's Senate for good

Thursday, 28 November 2013. Voting 9 times “no” during an emotional meeting of Italy's Senate, Italian senators give way to Berlusconi's expulsion from the Italian Parliament, after tax fraud conviction.

Berlusconi is a «political prisoner» of the Red Brigades (hinting at leftists judges), according to his fans

The Senate of Italy was pretty crowded yesterday, even though one of the famously habitual absentee – Silvio Berlusconi – was absent.

Perhaps he meant to boycott the sitting, but since he is never present, no-one noticed that.

On the agenda nine votes, all related to the media tycoon turned into politician and his judicial woes. Mr Berlusconi somehow keeps on being the major issue of the country.

Wednesday 27 November 2013

Berlusconi's senate expulsion vote will be held today

Wednesday, 27 November 2013. Berlusconi's supporters gather in Rome as their leader will face expulsion from Italian Senate and “political death” perpetrated by a “firing squad” (as he put it).

«It's a coup d'etat», reads the sign hung in Rome by berluscones
Tonight, apparently at 5 pm – but it can happen even earlier than that, or later, as we are talking about Italy – the Italian Senate of will vote over the expulsion of former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, due to a definitive conviction for tax fraud. Sky TV will stream a special report 'til midnight, to cover the story, all Italian media are tuned in.

In this hours the Berlusconi's supporters brandishing the newly formed Forza Italia party's flags (also known as berluscones) have started converging on Rome as a last attempt to stop the “firing squad”, as the billionaire called it. Berlusconi's girlfriend Francesca Pascale and other family members might show up.

Sunday 24 November 2013

Berlusconi will fight against the coup d'etat that plans to (politically) kill him, but a presidential pardon would do either

Sunday, 24 November 2013. Talking to the younger generation of Forza Italia militants, Berlusconi says he is a victim of a coup d'etat (and Giorgio Napolitano should help him getting out of the pickle).

Talking to a Forza Italia's gathering of young followers, Silvio Berlusconi reiterated his j'accuse, saying that he is a victim of a leftist coup d'etat aiming to his “political murder”.

Silvio Berlusconi with Annagrazia Calabria,
National Coordinator of Forza Italia's youth movement Giovane Italia (Young Italy)

And Italy's Head of State Giorgio Napolitano – went on Berlusconi - should “grant him a presidential pardon without any hesitation” even though his dignity does not allow him to ask for it (and Mr Napolitano previously tried to convince him that you can “grant” something only if somebody “have asked for it”).

In the meantime Berlusconi's former heir apparent Angelino Alfano said he won't join Forza Italia, founded a breakaway party (the New Centre-Right, NCR), declared he won't take part in the protest to be staged on November 27 (on that day the Senate will vote on Berlusconi's expulsion from the Italian parliament), even though he still loves Berlusconi and they should remain friends and allies and all that stuff.

Berlusconi is just like JFK, according to an Italian newspaper

Friday, 22 November 2013. 50 years after the death of JFK, the Italian newspaper “Il Giornale” explains how Silvio Berlusconi is “just like John Fitzerald Kennedy”.

JFK and Silvio Berlusconi: two of a kind?

The rightist “Il Giornale” ("The Newspaper") is a newspaper owned by the Berlusconi family, no surprise if they staunchly defend the positions of the former prime minister of Italy and news sound like pleas.

But this time in a front page editorial (headlined “A Kennedy in Arcore”) they dare to compare Silvio Berlusconi to none other than JFK – whose died exactly 50 years before, shot dead in Dallas, Texas – on the following grounds: we are talking about two wealthy, very wealthy, politicians, both used their wealth to push themselves through politics and both managed to beat their high-flier opponents. And both men had a dream that couldn't become true: in the case of JFK because he got assassinated, in the case of Mr Berlusconi, because “we are in Italy!” (according to the article).

Berlusconi's bunga bunga parties' details disclosed by Milan's court

Ruby the Heartstealer received from Silvio Berlusconi
"money and jewellery" in exchange for sex, according to Milan's judges

Thursday, 21 November 2013. Milan's court publishes details of Berlusconi conviction, is bunga bunga parties and his exchange of money and jewellery for sex with under-age dancer Karima el Mahroug (aka Ruby the Heart Stealer).

The proceedings about the sex scandal that involved Silvio Berlusconi ended up with a seven-year sentence, appeal pending. It's no more on the news, as it happened last June, but now new details have been disclosed about the sex scandal, as the Milan's court published a 350-page document about testimonies, bunga bunga parties and – of course – lots of women.

The former prime minister of Italy will also be banned from public office for life (if he fails to win the appeal to the sentence), a problem that adds up to Berlusconi's woes: on Wednesday the Senate will decide whether to expel him from the Italian parliament, in the wake of his conviction for tax fraud (no appeal pending, this one is definitive).

Barbara Berlusconi to revolution AC Milan (with a little help from her father Silvio)?

Saturday, 9 November 2013. Barbara Berlusconi seems to be taking control of AC Milan, as her father Silvio meets Vice President of the team for lunch at Arcore's Villa San Martino, possibly to kiss him goodbye.

Barbara Berlusconi: taking over?
AC Milan season hasn't been a triumphal march so far: the football team is ranking 11th in the Italian Serie A table, the side have won only one of the five matches played in the Champions League so far (last week Barcelona beat them 3-1) and the talented striker Mario Balotelli has tuned out to be more of a nuisance than a winning goal scorer, collecting much more yellow cards than goals (the ratio is a disheartening 9:5).

That's why a take over of the club might be under way by Silvio Berlusconi's family, more precisely by his daughter Barbara Berlusconi (a member of the board of directors since 2011). The coup could lead to the axing of vice-president (loyal man and good old friend of the former Italian prime minister) Adriano Galliani, head coach Massimiliano Allegri, problematic player Mario Balotelli, and god only knows who else.

Berlusconi says that his children feel like Jews with Hitler and asked him to leave the country

Wednesday, 6 Novembre 2013. In a new book published by famous Italian journalist Bruno Vespa, Berlusconi reveals that his children said they feel like a Jew family during Hitler's times.

In the run-up to the Italian Senate vote about the ousting of Silvio Berlusconi (as he was found guilty of tax fraud and convicted by all levels of Italian judiciary), the former prime minister is struggling to stay politically alive, and the publishing of his friend's book is a good chance to state his case and fight his war against his enemies.

77-year old Silvio Berlusconi seems to be worrying about his political future
“My children say they feel as Jewish families might have felt in Germany during Hitler's regime. Everybody is against as.” answered to Bruno Vespa's question about whether it is true that the children have asked him to sell out and leave Italy.

Has Silvio Berlusconi already married his girlfriend Francesca Pascale?

Wednesday, 30 October 2013. Bunga-bunga parties' regular Marysthell Polanco reveals to Italian radio that Silvio Berlusconi and Francesca Pascale already married weeks before at Arcore's villa.

The happy couple: Silvio and Francesca

Guesting at Italian public Radio2's “A day as a sheep” (“Un giorno da pecora”), the Dominican model and singer (and regular guest to Bunga-bunga parties in Berlusconi's Villa San Martino in Arcore) Marysthell Polanco was asked whether the former prime minister of Italy – now 77 – will ever marry his girlfriend, the 28-year-old Francesca Pascale?

Berlusconi's girlfriend is a lesbian, says actress Michelle Bonev, their engagement is a sham

Thursday, 10 October 2013. On her blog, Italian actress of Bulgarian descent Michelle Bonev wrote a post where discloses the fact that Silvio Berlusconi's girlfriend is – in fact – a lesbian. Since she is coming out, she also reveals details of his relationship with the former PM of Italy.

“The truth will make us free” reads the title of the post published on actress Michelle Bonev (real name Dragomira Boneva), where she declares that she had an affair with Silvio Berlusconi's girlfriend, the 28-year-old Francesca Pascale.

All together: (former) lover Nicole Minetti, Silvio Berlusconi,
girlfriend Francesca Pascale, (former) protégé Michelle Bonev (Dragomira Boneva), standing

Michelle/Dragomira is an actress, who started working as a nightclub escort, after moving to Italy from Bulgaria when she was 18. Then Bonev discovered Silvio Berlusconi, she was one of the actresses and girls gathering around Berlusconi in order to get money, work, gifts. She got parts, help, and when needed a budget to produce a film, Goodbye Mama (rated 4.9/10 on the Internet Movie Database), in which she was the protagonist and the director, she got it. With the help of Italian taxpayers.

Berlusconi's last attempt... or everybody go home!

Wednesday, 25 September 2013. In order to fight a “coup against the leader of the centre-right” - as Silvio Berlusconi put it, all the PDL (People of Freedom) party members involved in the government ready to resign.

“Let's go home, Angelino,” says Silvio Berlusconi, “all of us”.
After meeting up to define the next steps of a strenuous opposition against the ousting of Silvio Berlusconi, the allies of the former prime minister seem ready to resign from their posts, starting from the PDL's MPs (by the way: everything started a week after the rebirth of Forza Italia – the original Berlusconi's party – was announced, so this might sign the definitive end of PDL).

I haven't been sleeping for 55 days” said Silvio Berlusconi (trying to make it clear that wasn't due to infamous bunga-bunga parties or any other activities involving women) “I have lost 11 kilos” (which, by the way, might have been greeted as good news from his girlfriend Francesca Pascale).

When 500m euro you have to pay, that's not exactly the best way to start the day

Tuesday, 17 September 2013. On the eve of a vote over Silvio Berlusconi's eviction from the Senate of Italy, the Supreme court confirms his family's company has to pay over 500m euro in damages to media rival CIR, owned by De Benedetti family.

Silvio Berlusconi: seeing it coming?

Italy Supreme Court's ruling hasn't been very favourable to Silvio Berlusconi recently, after upholding accusations of tax fraud in the beginning of August, yesterday the Corte Suprema di Cassazione (this is the official name of the court of last resort in Italy) ruled that Berlusconi family’s Fininvest holding company had wrongfully gained control of Mondadori publishing house by bribing a judge (Vittorio Metta is his name) back in 1991, thus they have to pay more than half a million euro to De Benedettis' CIR.

This is what Berlusconi should do, according to experts (and laymen)

Saturday, 14 September 2013. As Italy awaits the vote on the political future of Silvio Berlusconi, friends and foes send their advices to the former prime minister.

Silvio Berlusconi: in a real pickle?

Next Wednesday, 18 September 2013, a commission will vote on barring Silvio Berlusconi from the Senate of Italy for good: after the conviction for tax fraud the former prime minister finds himself in a pickle (Berlusconi is said to be in such a disheartened mood that somebody quoted him saying “it'd be better if I died”...)

Barbara Berlusconi was at the business workshop in Cernobbio's beautiful Villa d'Este, when she was reached by a quite unusual interviewer, the (former?) confidante of her mother Veronica Lario (the interview was published by Rome's newspaper Il Messaggero), asking Barbara to comment the Silvio Berlusconi's legal woes and take a stance in the entangled situation of Italian politics.

«The story of my father and of my family is not that of a handful of tax evaders. [...] The story of Silvio Berlusconi can not end in shame» she said, referring to the recent conviction of the media tycoon for tax fraud, «There are those who want to hunt my father from politics for their own interests.

Berlusconi cross: Napolitano left him out of the life Senator's list

Thursday, 29 August 2013. Becoming a life Senator could have meant to Silvio Berlusconi a way out from legal woes, but Giorgio Napolitano did not include the former prime minister in the list of celebrities. Too bad.

An angry Berlusconi (Photograph: Reuters/Alessandro Bianchi)
Of course Berlusconi's People of Freedom party put all the pressure they could to get the former prime minister in the list of newly appointed life Senators, but in the end they had to cope with the fact that their leader will not be granted the honour, perhaps because he is not a former head of state nor a distinguished personality in the arts and sciences (nope, bunga-bunga parties do not count as achievement in arts).

Berlusconi did not take it well (actually he is cross!), since it could have meant cutting the Gordian knot in a situation where he doesn't seem to find a way out: in few days the parliament will be voting on his expulsion from the Senate, following his conviction for tax fraud, and he is more and more frightened by the prospect (nope, the European Court of Human Rights might not grant his salvation).

Wednesday 28 August 2013

Berlusconi turns to the European Court of Human Rights, this time

Wednesday, 28 August 2013. Running short of ideas Silvio Berlusconi turns to the European Court of Human Rights in order to try and avoid ousting from politics after final sentence for tax fraud.

Aha, I've got a new idea!
After he was sentenced to a 4-year term in jail for tax fraud, Silvio Berlusconi has truly tried everything, from weeping in front of thousands of fans (after his party delivered the crowd by bus to Rome), to staging an “air Blitz” on Italian beaches, he also tried to blackmail his PdL's ally Democratic Party in the coalition government («either you vote against my ousting from the Senate» he allegedly told them «or I will tear the government down», and die with the Philistines...), and just putting his feed down («my removal from politics is “unthinkable”» he sent word via his loyal squire Angelino Alfano).

Neither the recruiting of Freedom Fighters  to fight a jihad to defend its leader brought the desired results...

Berlusconi exit form politics “unthinkable”?

Saturday, 24 August 2013. After a long lasting meeting at Silvio Berlusconi's home in Arcore, People of Liberty party's secretary stated that removing the former prime minister from parliament over a tax fraud conviction is ”unthinkable”.

Me, out of politics? Unthinkable!
Has Silvio Berlusconi been convicted as a fraudster? Was the sentence confirmed by three different courts (including the Supreme Court)? Never mind, removing him from the Italian Parliament is "unthinkable", said Angelino Alfano, after a PdL's meeting in Arcore where the party hardliners – apparently led by Daniela Santanchè - seemed to have prevailed.

At the plenary assembly in Villa San Martino in Arcore nobody was missing (otherwise it wouldn't have been such “plenary”...): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Angelino Alfano, Renato Schifani, lawyer Niccolò Ghedini, former Minister for Public Administration and Innovation Renato Brunetta, Sandro Bondi (yes, the guy who hinted at a civil war, as Berlusconi sentence was disclosed), Maurizio Gasparri, top Twitterer Maurizio Lupi and – of course – Daniela “Nice piece of ass” Santanchè. Berlusconi's girlfriend Francesca Pascale wasn't mentioned, but she lives there...

Berlusconi is getting richer and richer

Wednesday, 7 August 2013. As Silvio Berlusconi's judiciary woes grow and political clout wanes, his wealth seems to rise steadily, according to Bloomberg.

Now, look at me! (Photo: REUTERS)
Apart from a few criminal convictions, Silvio Berlusconi's 2013 hasn't been that bad so far, for his wealth increased by the amount of 1.5 billion US dollars (which is almost 1 billion Pound Sterling or about 1.12bn in European Euros), rising by 26 percent and reaching the mind blowing sum of $7.6bn (i.e. £4.9bn or €5.7bn), according to Bloomberg Billionaires index (#1 on the leaderboard still being Mr Bill Gates, with a fortune of $72.6bn/£46.6bn/€54.4, but Silvio has quite a nice heap of money too).

Berlusconi and the seaside blitz

Thursday, 15 August 2013 (Assumption of Virgin Mary). As Silvio Berlusconi's lawyers announce they could ask the – otherwise puzzled – head of State Giorgio Napolitano to pardon the former prime minister, a flock of aeroplanes show up on the crowded Italian beaches to spur the support for the disgraced politician.

The "Blitz" seen from Santanchè&Briatore's Twiga beach club
Frenzy weeks ahead in Italy, after Silvio Berlusconi has finally been convicted for tax fraud at the beginning of the month, a sentence that could bring the former prime minister political power to an end (and leave the centre-right hunting for a new leader).

A protest in Rome was organised in order to express frustration against the Communists-led judiciary, while Beppe Grillo's 5SM is working hard in order to try and strip Silvio Berlusconi of his knighthood and bring the Senate to expel him.

Tuesday 13 August 2013

Berlusconi and his political heir (yes, another one...)

Tuesday, 13 August 2013. As Silvio Berlusconi's political future appears more and more doom and gloom, observers, friends and allies of the former prime minister point at his daughter Marina Berlusconi as new leader of the centre-right in Italy.

«I don't believe this will be the end of Berlusconi. The sentence [for tax fraud] will boost his approval» is the opinion of Northern League's founder (and disgraced former secretary) Umberto Bossi, a long-term friend (and sometimes foe) to Silvio Berlusconi, interviewed by Italian wire service ANSA.

Bossi will add that Berlusconi's daughter Marina could pick up the baton, adding to rumours that's been spreading since months.

Berlusconi and the last race

Wednesday, 7 August 2013. An Italian newspaper reveals details of Silvio Berlusconi last attempt to escape from imprisonment.

Silvio Berlusconi, almost ready for the tour
After the Giro d'Italia (the Italian version of the French cycling race Tour de France, which took place in May 2013), according to right-wing newspaper Libero, Italy is going to witness another country-wide event, the Giro della Libertà (i.e. Tour of Freedom in English), a race meant to keep Silvio Berlusconi away from prison (if he's fast enough), after his conviction to a four-year prison term for tax fraud.

What are the details of the tour? The Knight was quotes saying «Until 15 August [Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary], I'll stay put,» to his inner circle he met at his residence in Rome Palazzo Grazioli, «but then I'll make a bang.», before moving on to his villa in Arcore. The objective of all this fuss? Obtain the presidential pardon from head of state Giorgio Napolitano (we assume).

Berlusconi prison sentence upheld by court (but Silvio's army misunderstood the verdict)

Thursday, 1 August 2013. As millions were holding their breath Supreme Court rejected Silvio Berlusconi's last appeal and sentenced him to a four-year jail term. Live.

Silvio Berlusconi is not the prime minister of Italy anymore, but his own channel - Rete4 - prepared a special report where he is looking just as if he was

about its boss, Silvio Berlusconi

Almost everybody in Italy was waiting for the dramatic ending of one of Silvio Berlusconi's trial, a tax fraud case involving the billionaire's mass media company Mediaset.

The Cassation's (or Supreme) Court was in charge of ruling the appeal, the last one, which was rejected.

The sentence, read out loud by the president of the Supreme Court, upheld the prison term (four years), but quashed the ban on Mr Berlusconi to hold public office (actually the court just passed the buck to a Milan's appeal court).

Berlusconi judged by a holiday tribunal

Tuesday, 30 July 2013. In order to avoid statute of limitations, a holiday tribunal is going to judge Silvio Berlusconi's Mediaset tax fraud case.

Silvio Berlusconi; they might get me, at last...
Berlusconi's tax evasion case is the eighth proceeding to be dealt with by the Sezione feriale della Cassazione (Cassation's Holiday Section? Beachwear instead of gowns? Nicole Minetti could be interested in taking part to it...), starting today.

Why did the court decide to rule about this case in the middle of summer? It is made on purpose – say Berlusconi's lawyers – to make sure that the statute of limitation that won't declare null and void the case (or a part of it) in September. Good point.

Sunday 28 July 2013

Berlusconi wants to go to jail, if sentenced... can you believe that?

Saturday, 27 July 2013. Talking to Italian newspaper Libero Quotidiano's director Maurizio Belpietro, Silvio Berlusconi pledges to avoid fleeing the country or resort to house arrest and sit in jail, if he is convicted on Tuesday.

Berlusconi: worried, indifferent or just worn out?
In a couple of days former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi will be facing a definitive sentence, as Italy's Supreme Court meets to examine fraud charges against the politician.

Should his war against the judiciary (and his 20-year-long political career) end up this way, he won't follow his former mentor Bettino Craxi's path and leave the country as an exile, but he will try and experience the prison's life, even though – being almost 78 – he could ask to be granted house arrest (and we know that Berlusconi's houses aren't that bad, frequented by young women and hosting merry and gay parties. I mean merry and joyful parties.).

Berlusconi's associates follow Silvio and collect jail terms for sex-related charges

Friday, 19 July 2013. After Silvio Berlusconi's conviction to a 7-year term in prison, three of his associates – Emilio Fede, Lele Mora and Nicole Minetti – receive their share as a Milan's court finds them guilty of aiding and abetting prostitution.

Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was the first to be convicted in connection with the infamous bunga-bunga parties, he has been sentenced to seven years, together with a lifetime ban on holding public office.

Berlusconi's sentenced was based on charges of abuse of power (as a PM) and paying for sex a minor prostitute, namely the 17-year-old Moroccan nightclub dancer Karima El Mahroug (generally known as Ruby the Heartstealer).

Berlusconi denies having had sex for money at all (with any woman in the world, for that matters: he does not need any money to lay females!), denies abuse of power charges (it was just a nice phone call to a police station, to ask agents to release Ruby the Heartstealer, saying that she was the granddaughter of

Berlusconi, the Letta cabinet and the Kazakh people

Saturday, 6 July 2013. According to local newspaper L'Unione Sarda, Silvio Berlusconi secretly met up with with Kazakh dictator Nursultan Nazarbayev in Pultaldìa (Sardinia), on the very day when the Italian government come under fire for the deportation of wife and daughter of a Kazakh dissident. Later Mr Berlusconi will officially deny it.

Silvio Berlusconi with Nursultan Nazarbayev: did they secretly meet in Sardinia?
A storm hit the Letta government, as it came to light that the wife and the six-year-old daughter of a Kazakh dissident, Mukhtar Ablyazov, had been deported illegally to Kazakhstan, because it was believed that their documents were fake, in the end of May.

Later findings that the charges weren't justified (the procedure was annulled consequentially) and that Enrico Letta's office have tried for weeks to keep the case under wraps didn't help at all.

The two Kazakh females were seized by Italian special forces (the General Investigations and Special Operations Division, in Italian: Divisione Investigazioni Generali e Operazioni Speciali, commonly known by its acronym DIGOS).

Berlusconi's ally and vice president of the Senate says a Minister reminds him of a orang-utan

Sunday, 14 July 2013. Roberto Calderoli, vice president of the Senate of Italy and member of the Northern League – a Berlusconi's People of Liberty political ally - compares the first black Italian minister Cécile Kyenge to orang-utan to show off at political rally in Treviglio.

The handsome politician was speaking about Cécile Kyenge Kashetu, current Minister for Integration in the Letta cabinet, an Italian citizen of Congolese descent.

Berlusconi next mayor of New York?

Monday, 8 July 2013. Italian online magazine Panorama.it mistakes the New Yorker's weekly satirical blog "The Borowitz Report" for a trustworthy source, as it divulges Silvio Berlusconi's intentions to run for NYC office.

As Andy Borowitz wrote on his blog “former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said today that he was considering running for office in New York City” the Berlusconi owned Panorama could not resist and reported the fake news as reliable, apparently.

That might have been the reason why Silvio Berlusconi had been practicing English, in the past.

The idea came from the news that Silvio Berlusconi could be banned from public office by a recent sentence coming from the Rubygate trial, a proceeding where the former prime minister was found guilty of abusing of child prostitution and his powers as prime minister (in both instances Moroccan nightclub dancer Karima El Mahroug – also known as Ruby the Heartstealer - was primarily involved, but many other women had been involved in the so-called bunga-bunga parties at Silvio's villa in Arcore).

Berlusconi's tax fraud appeal hearing date set too early?

Wednesday, 10 July 2013. A decision by the Court of Cassation – which sets for as early as 30 July Silvio Berlusconi's tax fraud appeal hearing – gets Italy's political life in turmoil ignited also by newspapers' aggressive headlines.

"State bandits"
State bandits” reads Berlusconi's family newspaper Il Giornale (“The Newspaper”) today's headline with a list of evidence items (34 trials, 0 definitive sentences, and so on), showing how ballistic the former prime minister intends to go in his fighting the 20 Year's War against the Italian judiciary, which is guilty of having anticipated the appeal hearings, (allegedly) in order to avoid any risk of statute of limitations that might influence some of the charges in September.

Mr Berlusconi's entourage – amongst them the newspaper's editor Allesandro Sallusti - obviously counted on the fact that the media tycoon would by saved by the bell (namely the statue of limitation).

Berlusconi and Ruby the Heartstealer 2.0

Fri, 28 June 2013. A minor branch of the sex scandal trial gravitating to stripper Karima El Mahroug approaches its end and new leaks about Mr Berlusconi's bunga-bunga nights might come to light, as well as other details about women, girls and others.

The main branch of the trail that followed the rubygate inquiry ended a few days ago when the former prime minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi was sentenced to 7 years in prison (pending appeal, of course) for child prostitution and abuse of power, but there is a secondary branch of the proceeding – dubbed Ruby 2 or Ruby bis - where three persons are accused of pimping on behalf of Mr Berlusconi,

The three characters – for whom Prosecution demand a 7-year sentence to each and everyone - are a model-politician, Nicole Minetti, a journalist-politician, Emilio Fede, and a showbiz agent-bankrupt manager-bisexual dope pusher, Lele Mora. They are accused of recruiting, testing and keep the females needed for the bunga-bunga parties.

The incoming judicial issues of Mr Berlusconi

Tue, 25 June 2013. As Silvio Berlusconi is sentenced to seven years in jail and ban from holding public office prison (for having had sex with a under-age prostitute and having tried to deceive a bunch of policemen about her identity, with a prank phone call) the Italian judiciary is keeping by five more judicial trials for the former PM of Italy. Not all of them involving women.

One of the rare occasions when Silvio Berlusconi showed up in court

Silvio Berlusconi has barely time to swallow the heavy sentence given by Milan's magistrates (they took seriously prosecutor's theory about Silvio being the head of a prostitution ring, didn't they?), that he will need a bit of luck and concentration to dodge the incoming threats from the judiciary, a gymkhana (since Silvio reckon it's a war, he might prefer to call a campaign) of proceedings starting already... tomorrow!

Berlusconi and the constitutional court

Wed, 19 June, 2013. Silvio Berlusconi risks of being booted out of politics for good, as he loses appeal to the constitutional court in relation with Mediaset tax fraud trial.

The so-called Mediaset trial has been lingering on for more than 10 years (Wikipedia provides quite an extensive picture over Berlusconi's trials and allegations, click here to check this out).

Will Silvio end up in handcuffs?
the list of people involved is pretty long - a fair share of the Berlusconi family is in it, like Silvio's children Marina Berlusconi and Piersilvio Berlusconi – but it's the head of the family who has more to lose, since he could end up banned from holding public office, if things turn nasty.

Berlusconi's army is not made only of women in skimpy clothes, as you might think. Look at the freedom fighters.

Saturday, 8 June, 2013. Rumour has it that the newly formed Freedom Army is recruiting youngsters from schools, as it is sufficient to be 16 to help Silvio Berlusconi fight the Twenty Years' War and a large number of crusaders is needed to defeat the hordes communists dwelling in the country.

The Freedom Army recruiting web page
The Freedom Army (Esercito della Libertà) – also known as “Esercito di Silvio” (“Silvio's Army”) – is new initiative created by the entrepreneur Simone Furlan, founded with the goal to recruit volunteer crusaders to defend the former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi from the continuous attacks from the judiciary, the communists, the anti-democratic forces and their allies.

A clearly example of the bad faith of the prosecutors is the fact that they accused Silvio's former lover Nicole Minetti of having had sex for money with the billionaire, whilst she was in love with him.

The jihad that the freedom fighters are expected to fight is the Twenty Years' War, a war clearly explained in a documentary broadcast by Mediaset's Canale 5, titled “The Twenty Years' War – Ruby's Last Act”.

Berlusconi, how easy is to mistake “true love” for “sex for money”?

Friday, 7 June, 2013. At the Ruby 2 trial Nicole Minetti denies having had “sex for money” and reveals that it was “true love” if she was hosted by Silvio Berlusconi at his villa(s), and reveals unprecedented “media aggression followed by a wave of scorn” against her.

Nicole Minetti in court
On 31 May prosecutors hinted that Nicole Minetti had being “performing sexual acts for money” in Silvio Berlusconi's villa(s), apparently with the former prime minister, during a trial – dubbed Ruby 2, from the name of the main character involved and because the Ruby #1 is the trial against Silvio himself – where Nicole is a defendant, together with Lele Mora and Emilio Fede.

Nicole Minetti is charged with “induction into prostitution”, as a organiser of bunga-bunga parties and recruiter of prostitutes (among them under-age belly dancer Karima El Mahroug aka Ruby the Heartstealer, nickname that dubbed the related proceedings).

Proceedings are slowed down by many obstacles, Karima El Mahroug numerous lies didn't help much. but proceedings are always slow in Italy, aren't they?

Prosecution asked for a 7-year sentence.

Berlusconi, Ruby, Nicole, paid sex, girls and women, testing and tasting: the prosecutors speak their mind

Friday, 31 May, 2013. During the closing arguments of the Ruby case, prosecutors asked for 7-year sentences for any of the Silvio Berlusconi 's friends involved in bunga-bunga parties and related sex scandal, for different reasons, as they illustrated.

Nicole Minetti seems to say: “Sex for money? Me?
Are you serious?”
Nicole Minetti, former regional councillor, showgirl and model (and - according to her - former girlfriend of Silvio Berlusconi), apart for having fulfilled tasks of “intermediation” in the fixing of the bunga-bunga parties, had an active role by “performing sexual acts for money”, according to prosecutor Antonio Sangermano, while women-connoisseurs “associates” Dario Gabriele “Lele” Mora and Emilio Fede “tested – or tasted - the pleasantness of the girls, checked their social-relational skills and then led into the circuit of the evenings” at Berlusconi's villa in Arcore.

They all deserve a reclusion of 7 years, according to the Public Prosecutor.
