Berlusconi: “If they put me in jail, there will be a revolution”


Thursday, 12 December 2013. Silvio Berlusconi says his arrest would spark a revolution in Italy. In the meanwhile the country is getting ready to it, experiencing protests, roadblocks and rioting by “pitchfork” protesters for the third day.

Reborn Forza Italia's leader Berlusconi was interviewed by French radio broadcaster Europe 1, when the former prime minister – who was ejected from the Senate of Italy on 28 November, due to a definitive tax fraud convictiongave vent to his grievances.


“They can tap my telephone,” said the billionaire-politician “they have already taken my passport, and they can arrest me when they want. But I'm not afraid, if they do it there will be a revolution in Italy”. The sentence can be interpreted as a foresight or as a manage, you choose.

Berlusconi receives Vladimir Putin in Arcore, where they are caught playing joyfully by a camera (photos)


Wednesday, 5 December 2013. Silvio Berlusconi is caught playing joyfully with his friend Vladimir Putin at Arcore's villa, though there are two versions of the story.

Silvio Berlusconi's good friend Vladimir Putin - whose profession is being the president of Russia –, and in the end of November he was a guest at the Arcore's home of the Italian billionaire, when they were caught playing in one of the corridors of the magnificent villa (in fact one of the most beautiful of the properties owned by the former prime minister of Italy).

Pictures of the event were published by both the authoritative Facebook page Prugna (Prune) and the gossip magazine “Chi” (“Who”) - a publication owned by the Berlusconi family. You won't find this in the news.

Berlusconi splits AC Milan's CEO post to please both his daughter and his friend Galliani


Saturday, 30 November 2013. Nope, Adriano Galliani will not leave AC Milan, and the football club team owned by Silvio Berlusconi will have two General Manager, Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi.

AC Milan's CEO Adriano Galliani was “seriously damaged” by the allegations made by the club's owner's daughterBarbara Berlusconi – about his incapacity of creating a winning team and keep the books in order. 

And he was so cross about the situation that he released an interview saying he was about to leave the football club, after more than 27 years. But a Solomonic Silvio Berlusconi decided to try and make peace between the two, invited the friend for dinner in his villa in Arcore, and gave a sop to (apparently) both contender...
